Welcome to E2CCB DL Cultural Connections (keep this name? Change?)
The 21st Century world is more connected than ever before. Anyone with a smart phone knows the power of the mini-computer they carry with them all day. Information over social media can travel around the world in an instant and with a click of a link, we can meet face to face with someone in another country.
Learning about other cultures, experiences, abilities, and beliefs is essential for our learners to build understanding and respect for those who are different than they are. (just cultures? cultures and abilities? experiences?)
E2CCB DL Cultural Connections is here to share experiences across distances that offer attendees mirrors to see their reflections in the world, windows to see others, and sliding glass doors to not just see others but to build shared experiences with those who are different.
